Besides Passion for Farming and Logistics, a third passion is Canada. The country always intrigued me, especially the nature and the fast surroundings. Late 2015 Schippers Canada was facing some operational challenges and, without a doubt, I offered assistance and traveled quite a bit to Canada. At the time still in combination with my responsibilities in Europe. At a certain moment, Schippers decided to follow the potential and invest in new facilities in Canada. Looking at the ginormous workload, it was time to make a decision; look for a replacement in Belgium or find an operations coworker to lead the developments in Canada. Six months later my wife, two sons and three dogs landed in Calgary and occupied our new home. Today Schippers Canada has grown from 5 co-workers to 19 coworkers and we are supplying the agricultural producers with our high-quality products and knowledge.
