Area Manager Eastern Europe
Will you join our team in the role of Area Manager Eastern Europe pigs and poultry?
We're looking for a highly motivated Area Manager pigs and poultry to join our team. In this position, you'll be part of the growth of our Export division in Eastern Europe. The ideal candidate has experience in the sector, good communication skills and the willingness to learn a lot! You will be facilitated in a good onboarding program which involves training at our Headquarters and research farms in Hapert, The Netherlands.

In your role as Area Manager Eastern Europe you will have the responsibility for the sales strategy in your countries. You evaluate the cooperation with our dealers, search for the right product-market combination and develop new sales channels. The introduction of our newest innovations like the MS HyBag will be a large part of your work. If needed you can count on the help of our team of HyCare specialists to develop long-term hygiene projects with lasting impact at integrations.

What are you going to do?
What will you do as an Area Manager Eastern Europe?
- Drive sales and promote our biosecurity products actively together with our distributors.
- Establish partnerships within the pig and poultry sector in the assigned countries, with a special focus on the poultry sector.
- Develop new sales channels for innovative products from our R&D department.
- Collaborate with distributor technical teams and our in-house specialists to effectively grow sales.
- Spearhead the expansion of our latest innovation, the MS HyBag.
- Represent our company at trade fairs, conferences and other events in your designated countries.
- Coordinate study trips to our headquarters in the Netherlands with key accounts.
What do we ask?
For the position Area Manager Eastern Europe, we require:
- Independency and proactivity, assuming responsibility.
- Sharpness and critical thinking, both in self-assessment and in evaluating dealer operations.
- A vast network within the pig and/or poultry sector.
- Exceptional communication skills coupled with the ability to cultivate meaningful relationships.
- Proficiency in both English and a second language, written and verbal, is mandatory.
- A Bachelor’s degree in sales or an agricultural discipline at an intermediate level or above is preferred.
- Prior field experience and a genuine passion for sales will be highly valued.
- Gold level in our in-house MS Academy within 6 months after starting.
- Willingness to travel extensively within Europe and to our Headquarters in Hapert, The Netherlands is essential.
