Fast-paced logistics, real impact & an informal family culture in Hapert!
Every single day, thousands of farmers from Brabant to Colombia count on high-quality hygiene solutions to keep their livestock healthy. At The Schippers Group, we turn ambitious biosecurity goals into reality—and our state-of-the-art 15,000 m² distribution center in Hapert is where the magic happens. Together with a energetic team of about 50 colleagues, you make sure that over 20,000 different products get picked, packed, and shipped worldwide without a hitch.
Forget traditional, slow-moving warehouses. We work with smart systems like our automated AutoStore ASRS, fast-paced logistics, and a no-nonsense atmosphere where clean working, teamwork, and having fun go hand in hand.
What are you going to do?
Your work day moves as fast as our global shipments. You don’t just shift boxes; you control the flow of crucial supplies that empower farmers globally to build safer, antibiotic-free environments. Your daily routine includes:
- Picking and packing orders at top speed: You process international orders, carefully gather products, pack shipments securely, and seal pallets so they arrive at farms around the globe in flawless condition.
- Operating advanced equipment: You maneuver safely through our high-bay warehouse using reach trucks or forklifts (if certified) to move stock quickly and efficiently.
- Keeping standards sky-high: You maintain an organized, spotless workspace because high-level hygiene is at the very core of our business.
- Working in a comfortable shift pattern: You work alternating weekly shifts (Monday to Friday) that leave plenty of time for your private life:
– Morning shift: 06:00 – 14:00
– Evening shift: 14:00 – 22:00
What we are looking for?
- Active hands-on mentality: You like being on your feet, love physical work (consider your gym subscription canceled!), and take pride in completing orders cleanly and fast.
- Strong communication skills: You speak Dutch or English fluently and communicate clearly with your shift team to keep the warehouse floor running smoothly.
- Reliability and focus: You pay attention to details, follow safety guidelines, and work neatly even during peak hours.
- Proximity to Hapert: You live within easy commuting distance of Hapert and are available full-time.
- Bonus skills: A reach truck certificate is a great bonus. Don’t have one yet? We are happy to fund and train you on the job!
What we offer?
We combine the warm culture of a family-owned business with top-tier workplace facilities:
- Attractive starting salary: Earn between €16.79 and €18.00 per hour, which includes an immediate 12% shift allowance on all your worked hours.
- The paid-break bonus: You work 37.5 hours per week on paper, but we pay you for 39 hours—getting paid while taking your break!
- Unmatched perks & facilities: Access to our company restaurant with great food at low costs, a relaxation room, on-site squash court and gym, and our very own company café for Friday drinks.
- Growth and certifications: Clear opportunities to grow, earn certificates (like reach truck licenses), and step up into senior warehouse roles.
- Nice team events: Join our famous annual staff parties, quizzes, sports tournaments, and family days organized by our staff association.
