Online Marketeer Italy

  • Marketing & E-commerce
  • Full-time
  • Hapert, Netherlands
  • 2860 - 4500

Drive digital growth and optimize the webshop experience for livestock farmers across Italy!

At The Schippers Group, we prove every day that the healthiest livestock farms are the ones where animal health starts with top-tier hygiene. By delivering practical hygiene innovations, we empower farmers to protect their herds, drastically reduce the need for antibiotics, and boost their farm’s profitability. This straightforward approach is driving rapid international expansion. As our Online Marketeer Italy, you take full ownership of our digital presence in the Italian market. You ensure that a dairy farmer in Lombardy or a pig farmer in Piedmont experiences a seamless online journey—from discovering relevant hygiene advice to receiving their essential barn supplies within clicks.

You will join our high-energy European E-commerce team in Hapert (15 minutes from Eindhoven), working alongside specialists in performance marketing, marketing automation, customer insights and content creation. You get full freedom to test creative ideas, run high-impact campaigns, and bridge the gap between offline sales and digital ordering. With over 15,000 products and an increasing demand for our mobile app, your digital strategies directly shape our growth in Italy!

What are you going to do?

Together with the Italian sales team you turn market data into high-converting campaigns. In this role, you will:

  • Drive creative multi-channel campaigns: You design, execute, and monitor promotional campaigns and webshop deals specifically for Italian farmers. You select the right mix of digital channels—from Google Ads and Bing to targeted email newsletters—to maximize campaign return on investment.
  • Optimize search engine visibility (SEO & SEA): You perform keyword research tailored to Italian search behavior, refine on-page SEO content, and structure paid search, display, and Performance Max campaigns in Google Ads to capture maximum market share.
  • Manage and upgrade the webshop: You manage all Italian banners, promo codes, and homepage slots. You actively process user feedback tickets to fix bottlenecks and refine internal site search functionality so farmers find products effortlessly.
  • Accelerate digital transformation: You actively train and motivate our local sales advisors in Italy to highlight the perks of digital ordering (web & app) during their farm visits. Your target is to shift at least 80% of total Italian sales volume to our digital platforms.
  • Expand mobile app adoption: You create engaging marketing messages that convince farmers to download and use the MS Schippers app, collecting user feedback to continuously improve the mobile experience.

What we are looking for?

We value drive, initiative, and a practical mindset. Specifically, you show this through your actions:

  • Hands-on performance marketing skills: You actively build, adjust, and track campaign performance in Google Ads, Bing, and email automation tools without waiting for external agencies to step in.
  • Analytical and commercial focus: You dive into analytics dashboards to evaluate campaign revenues, user behavior, and online/offline order shifts, using those insights to continuously adjust your weekly roadmap.
  • Clear communication and collaboration: You step up to present digital sales benefits to local sales advisors in Italy, speaking fluent English and Italian to build smooth relationships across international teams.
  • Pragmatic project execution: You organize your workload independently, launch promotional landing pages on short notice, and stay ahead of fast-evolving e-commerce trends.
  • Location & presence: You work primarily from our headquarters in Hapert. You love the energy of working on-site with your team, so living within a realistic commuting distance means you never miss out on quick strategy sessions or Friday drinks.
  • Relevant background: Ideally, you have 2+ years of experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or growth marketing. But, if you’re a starter with a lot of eagerness to learn, this could also be a match.

What we offer?

  • Direct international impact: Your work directly helps Italian farmers improve farm hygiene and raise healthier animals while cutting down antibiotic use worldwide.
  • Growth and ownership: Plenty of room to test new digital tools, run experiments, and take full commercial ownership of a complete country market.
  • A down-to-earth culture: Direct lines, no unnecessary bureaucracy, and flat organizational structures where your ideas are implemented fast.
  • Hard work & fun: Join an energetic team that loves winning together and celebrates successes with regular team events and Friday drinks.
  • Salary: A gross monthly salary between € 2.860 and € 4.500 (depending on your background), combined with good secondary benefits.
  • A beautiful workspace: Our brand new head office is located in Hapert, right next to the A67 and just 15 minutes from Eindhoven. Here, you can enjoy a great lunch at cost price, have a drink with colleagues, and burn off those calories right away in our own gym or squash court.

Good to know: In the future we also see opportunities to work (partly) from Italy. This is no necessity, but we’re open to discuss this if it’s something you’d be interested in!
