Technical Commercial Advisor Cattle – Galicia

  • Advice & Sales
  • Full-time
  • Galicia, Spain

Drive cattle health, support dairy farmers, and make an impact across Northern Spain.

Are you passionate about dairy farming, livestock health, and driving commercial success? At The Schippers Group, we roll up our sleeves every single day to support farmers with practical solutions. We believe that true animal health starts with top-tier hygiene and biosecurity, preventing diseases before they start and drastically reducing the need for antibiotics worldwide. As our Technical Commercial Advisor Cattle North West Spain, you are the face of our mission in one of Spain’s most vibrant dairy regions. You bring expert advice directly into the barn, build lasting relationships with farmers, and boost their profitability while contributing to a sustainable global agricultural sector.

Ready to combine hard work, deep industry knowledge, and plenty of fun in a fast-growing international family business? Get on board and start making an impact!

What are you going to do?

In this role, you bridge the gap between technical agricultural expertise and commercial drive. You spend your days on the road across North West Spain, visiting dairy farms, analyzing hygiene challenges, and offering tailored solutions that directly improve farm performance.

  • Consultative selling in the barn: You walk into dairy farms, assess current biosecurity standards, and advise farmers on innovative hygiene routines, such as our advanced cleaning protocols and drinking water treatment systems, that boost herd health and lower antibiotic dependency.
  • Commercial growth & relationship building: You proactively identify new business opportunities in the Galician territory, convert leads into long-term clients, and nurture ongoing relationships with existing accounts.
  • Hands-on product demonstrations: You demonstrate our cutting-edge tools and products directly on-site, showing farmers step-by-step how our solutions save them time, lower mortality rates, and increase daily milk yields.
  • Knowledge sharing & global collaboration: You share practical insights from the field with our international R&D and product development teams, ensuring our global innovations remain perfectly aligned with local farming challenges.
  • Pipeline & account management: You manage your own calendar, track your sales funnel efficiently, and deliver reliable forecasts while staying in close touch with your Spanish and international colleagues.

What we offer?

We don’t care about corporate fluff; we care about drive, practical know-how, and a genuine passion for the agricultural sector.

  • Educational background: You hold a degree as an Ingeniero Agrónomo, Técnico Agrícola, or Veterinario. You understand the daily reality of cow husbandry and dairy farm management inside out.
  • Commercial experience: You have at least 3 to 5 years of proven sales or account management experience within the agricultural or livestock sector. You know how to negotiate, close deals, and build lasting business trust.
  • Location & mobility: You live in Galicia, hold a valid driver’s license, and love spending your days visiting farmers in the field.
  • Behavior & mindset: Proactive & hands-On. You don’t wait for opportunities to land in your lap; you pick up the phone, hop in your car, and drop by farms to initiate conversations.
  • Solution-oriented partner: When a farmer faces health or hygiene setbacks, you analyze the root cause on the spot and present clear, practical action plans instead of selling quick fixes.
  • Determined & resilient: You enjoy the challenge of reaching targets, handling objections with confidence, and staying persistent when opening doors at prospective accounts.
  • Languages: Native or fluent Spanish is essential. Knowledge of Galician (Gallego) is a strong benefit for building rapport with local farmers. English proficiency is a plus for internal career growth within our global team.

At The Schippers Group, we work hard, support each other, and celebrate our wins together. You get the freedom to manage your own schedule while enjoying the backing of a global leader in livestock hygiene.

  • Immediate start: A full-time position where you can jump in and make an impact right away.
  • Competitive compensation: An attractive base salary tailored to your experience, complemented by a rewarding sales incentive structure.
  • Complete mobility package: A company car, phone, and laptop so you can work comfortably both on the road and at your home office.
  • Global impact: The chance to represent a leading international brand fighting Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), directly contributing to safer food production worldwide.
  • Growth & learning: Access to extensive internal training programs on biosecurity, product innovations, and consultative selling, including knowledge exchange with our international demofarms.
  • Great work culture: A flat, informal organization with short lines of communication, enthusiastic colleagues, and a clear motto: work hard, play hard!
