Are you looking for an international internship and do you have a background in livestock farming? Then this internship in Vietnam might be just what you're looking for!
We are looking for an enthusiastic intern to join our team in Vietnam for a research project focused on biosecurity and hygiene in livestock farming, specifically within the pig and poultry sectors.
You will be based in Vietnam, where you will collaborate with both Dutch and Vietnamese colleagues to conduct the research. This could involve market research, project development, or concept development. We’d love to hear what type of research suits you best! It’s important that the project supports our mission to contribute to a healthy living environment for animals through effective hygiene practices.
Together, we’ll explore opportunities that align with your interests and our business goals, ensuring the project is both educational for you and valuable for our company. This internship in Vietnam will provide you with practical experience that will truly make an impact.
What are you going to do?
- Supporting trials and demonstrations of Schippers’ products and services at client locations (livestock farms).
- Conducting research and formulating recommendations to further improve our products and services for the livestock sector.
- Collaborating with our team to ensure the project provides valuable learning experiences for your studies and actionable insights for our business operations.
- And most importantly, we ensure the project aligns well with your interests, so you can get the most out of your internship.
What we are looking for?
Our ideal candidate:
- Is currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program at an agricultural college in the Netherlands (such as International Food & Agribusiness or Animal Husbandry).
- Has a good command of the English language. Speaking Dutch is not necessary.
- Is an energetic individual who enjoys taking initiative and can work independently.
- Is solution-oriented and ambitious.
- Is open to relocating to Vietnam for the duration of the internship.
