Do you want to work with high-tech laser machines, robots, and unique products that are shipped all over the world?

Do you want to work with high-tech laser machines, robots, and unique products that are shipped all over the world?

As a Production Operator at Plastifran (part of The Schippers Group), you are responsible for the complete order processing of various products. You operate laser machines that perform a wide range of processing tasks, and you are technically guided by the Laser Team Leader.

What are you going to do?

As a Production Operator, you play a key role in the production process of livestock ear tags. No two days are the same, because every order is custom-made.

You make sure everything runs smoothly:

  • You operate laser machines and make minor adjustments in case of small deviations (in consultation with the team leader).
  • You monitor production times and check whether everything meets quality standards.
  • You carry out inspections, finish products where needed, and ensure everything is sent to dispatch on time.
  • You help maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • You take on other production tasks as well, allowing you to learn quickly and keep the work varied.

What we are looking for?

  • You are hands-on and work accurately.
  • You are open to working in shifts (2 or 3 shifts).
  • You’re able to communicate well in English or Dutch.
  • Experience with machines? Great. No experience yet? We will teach you!

What we offer?

  • Working with impressive machines in a modern production environment.
  • The security and stability of a family-owned company with nearly 60 years of history (and we’ll be celebrating that in 2026!).
  • Opportunities to develop yourself. We are happy to support you with training and education.
  • A great workplace with plenty of extras: company restaurant, squash court, relaxation area, and even a café.
  • A competitive hourly wage between €15.71 and €18.75 gross (depending on your background and experience).
  • A 12% shift allowance on top of your hourly wage.
  • Every year, we host a legendary staff party, along with various activities organized by our employee association — think ski trips, Oktoberfest, beach volleyball tournaments, family days, and much more.

What if antibiotics no longer work?

We ensure that this question never becomes a reality! Our mission is a world without AMR. Now, you might be wondering: What is AMR? Don’t worry, we’ve got it all explained for you right here.

We are The Schippers Group, a family-owned business founded in 1966. Our products and services focus on creating a healthy environment for animals through hygiene management. After all, our motto is: “Prevention is better than cure.” We’ve already made significant progress, but we’re not there yet. With over 500 colleagues in more than 40 countries and 12 different offices—including our modern headquarters in Hapert—we continue to grow.
